2. Eligibility to Use Our Services

You must be:

  • At least 16 years old, or supervised by a parent/guardian
  • Using a valid UK prescription issued within the last 24 months (or 12 months if under 16)

3. Prescription Accuracy

You are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date prescription details when placing an order. We strongly recommend uploading your prescription or confirming its accuracy before checkout. If your prescription is unclear, we may contact you for clarification.

4. NHS Optical Vouchers

We accept valid NHS Optical Vouchers issued by registered UK opticians or eye hospitals.

  • You must supply the voucher number and/or a scanned/photo copy before we process your order
  • The voucher must not have already been used at another retailer
  • Any remaining balance beyond the voucher value must be paid at checkout
  • We reserve the right to verify all vouchers with the issuing optician

5. Prices and Payment

All prices are listed in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
We accept payment via debit/credit card, PayPal, and NHS optical vouchers (where eligible).

Prices may change without notice, but orders already placed will not be affected.

6. Delivery

We aim to dispatch prescription eyewear within 5–10 working days from order confirmation. Delivery timelines may vary based on prescription complexity and frame/lens availability.

Standard UK delivery options are offered at checkout. We are not liable for delays caused by postal services or courier networks.

7. Returns & Refunds

Due to the personalised nature of prescription glasses, we cannot accept returns for change-of-mind.

However, we accept returns in the following cases:

  • Faulty products
  • Prescription manufacturing errors
  • Incorrect item received

If your item is eligible for return:

  • Notify us within 14 days of receipt
  • Email: info@opticalvouchershop.co.uk with your order number and reason
  • Returns must be unused and in their original condition

Refunds are processed within 14 working days after we receive and inspect the returned item.

8. Warranty

All prescription glasses come with a 12-month warranty against manufacturing faults (frames and lenses). This does not cover accidental damage, misuse, or wear and tear.

9. Use of Website

You agree not to:

  • Misuse our website for fraudulent purposes
  • Attempt unauthorised access to our systems
  • Copy, scrape, or reproduce our content without written permission

We reserve the right to cancel any order or suspend access if misuse is suspected.

10. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Losses due to incorrect prescription entry
  • Delays or issues caused by third-party couriers or voucher verification
  • Indirect or consequential losses

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the product(s).
